To start in IMPRS-PL, an excellent degree, equivalent to a diploma or master, in physics, engineering or computer science is required.

Scholarship Description: The programme is jointly organised by the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering IOF. The doctoral degree will be awarded by one of the faculties of natural sciences or engineering.
