Scholarship Description: The Department of Philosophy wishes to appoint three full-time teaching fellows on fixed-term contracts, two for a period of ten months, the third for six months. The start date for all three appointments is 1 October 2012. The department welcomes applications from all areas of analytic philosophy, and may favour candidates with teaching expertise in the following areas: philosophy of biology, philosophy of medicine, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, personal identity, and value theory broadly conceived. Teaching will be across the full range of undergraduate study and will include the delivery of introductory seminars in metaphysics and epistemology and the supervision of final-year dissertations. Supervision of Masters-level essays may also be required.
